As the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Fırat University, we were honored to host Dr. Irsaliyeva Surayyo To’rabek qizi, a distinguished faculty member from Gulistan State University, on June 2-3, 2025.

Dr. Irsaliyeva held an extremely productive seminar in our department titled “The Application of Mechanical Teaching Methods in Higher Education Institutions.” The seminar attracted great interest from our faculty members and students, providing insightful information on innovative approaches and methods in mechanical teaching.

Following the seminar, our Department Chair Prof. Dr. Cengiz Tatar, together with our Faculty Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Alper Osman Öğrenmiş, presented Dr. Irsaliyeva with certificates of appreciation. During this ceremony, important topics such as potential joint research projects and student exchange programs between Gulistan State University's Physics Department and our department were discussed, and ideas were exchanged regarding possible collaborations.

It was emphasized that this step towards strengthening scientific cooperation between the physics departments of the two universities would make valuable contributions to the academic curricula of both institutions and especially to our students. It was agreed that Dr. Irsaliyeva's extensive experience and knowledge shared with us would shed light on and inspire our department's future projects.

During her visit, Dr. Irsaliyeva conducted detailed inspections of our Physics Department Laboratories and our University's Central Research Laboratory (FÜBİLTAM). She was provided with comprehensive information about the infrastructure of our laboratories, current research opportunities, and ongoing projects. Our visiting faculty member also held one-on-one meetings with our students, emphasizing the importance of mutual experience sharing and international academic interaction.

We would like to once again thank Dr. Irsaliyeva Surayyo To'rabek qizi for her kind visit to our department and her valuable contributions, and we hope that the cooperation between the two departments will continue to grow.
